Since 1963 Breton (currently with 480 employees and an 860.000 m2 facility in Italy) has developed and manufactured state-of-the-art machines and plants that are well known and appreciated all over the world.
The Machine Tool division develops and manufactures high-speed machining centers specially conceived for the sectors of die making, tooling and workshop production and for the automotive and aerospace industries.

Breton’s machining centers:
- Flymill 1000/1300/1600/2000 with working area (X,Y,Z) from 98.4x78.7x39.4 in to 137.8x315x78.8 in.
- Matrix 800/1000/1300 with working range (X,Y,Z) from 78.7x63x31.5 into 153.5x315x51.1 in, with 3 and 5 interpolated axes, twisting heads mechanically driven or with Direct Drive Technology, and C axis continuous.
- Xceeder 900/1200 with 3 interpolated axes with fixed table or with 5 interpolated axes with Rotary Tilting Table through Direct Drive Technology and changing pallet with 5 stations.
- Xceeder Micron 900 with 3 or 5 axes, high speed technology combined with high precision.
- Ultrix 800/1000 turns, mills and grinds in one set-up, without moving the piece in production: turning table with diameter up to 39.4 in, loading capacity up to 5,500 lb and turning spindle speed up to 800rpm. All machines have powerful electro-spindles with power up to 53.6 hp, torque up to 162 ft-lb and spindle speed revolution up to 40,000 rpm.
